Abstract
Se proporciona un aparato, que incluye una bomba vertical de doble succión; el aparato tiene un alojamiento de bomba y un impulsor de doble succión dispuesto en ella sobre un eje. El alojamiento de bomba tiene una pared de alojamiento de bomba. El impulsor de doble succión tiene discos superior e inferior con bordes metálicos configurados para formar anillos de aislamiento superior e inferior entre el impulsor de doble succión y la pared del alojamiento de bomba para evitar un flujo de recirculación desde la descarga del impulsor a la entrada del impulsor.
