Abstract

Un copolímero en bloque (M) adecuado para el refuerzo de una resina termoestable (R) , el copolímero en bloque (M) tiene al menos un bloque derivado de un polímero aromático termoplástico (A) que exhibe una temperatura de transición vítrea (Tg) de al menos aproximadamente 150 °C, y al menos un bloque derivado de un polímero de Tg baja (B) donde: (i) el polímero de Tg baja (B) exhibe una Tg en el intervalo de aproximadamente -130 °C a aproximadamente +40 °C; (ii) el polímero aromático (A) es soluble en el o los precursores de resina termoestable no curada (P) de la resina termoestable (R); y (iii) el polímero de Tg baja (B) no es soluble en el precursor de resina termoestable no curada (P); las composiciones de polímero con capacidad de curado que comprenden el copolímero en bloque y las resinas termoestables que derivan de estas.
