Abstract
Se describe un método para la fabricación de un cuerpo de lata metálico en el que se usan dos o más operaciones de estirado para reducir el grosor de la parte central de una base de copa, previamente al embutido de la pared lateral de la copa y la formación de un cuerpo de lata. Mediante el uso de dos o más operaciones de estirado, se ha descubierto que es posible controlar el grosor de la base sin reducir significativamente el comportamiento de la reducción de presión de la lata terminada.
