Abstract
La descripción narra técnicas para codificar coeficientes de transformada para un bloque de datos de video. De acuerdo con estas técnicas, un codificador de video divide una unidad de nivel de hoja de datos de video en una pluralidad de subconjuntos de coeficientes de transformada. El codificador de video genera, para un subconjunto de la pluralidad de subconjuntos de coeficientes de transformada, un elemento de sintaxis que indica si el subconjunto incluye o no cualquiera de los coeficientes no nulos. En algunos ejemplos, el codificador de video puede determinar de manera selectiva si genera el elemento de sintaxis para cada subconjunto. Un descodificador puede leer una corriente de bits codificada por entropía que incluye el elemento de sintaxis, y determinar si descodifica el subconjunto basándose en el elemento de sintaxis.
