Abstract

La presente invención proporciona formulaciones de liberación sostenida farmacéuticas inyectables para el suministro de agentes activos, particularmente proteínas terapéuticas, al ojo. Las formulaciones son formulaciones de liberación sostenida, biocompatibles, biodegradables que comprenden excipientes líquidos de baja solubilidad y cantidades relativamente pequeñas (menos de aproximadamente 10%) de polímero biocompatible, biodegradable tales como polímeros de PLA o PLGA.
