Abstract

Se describen materiales de acrílico con alto índice de refracción, hidrofóbicos, con baja adhesión; estos materiales, especialmente útiles como materiales de lente intraocular, contienen uno o más monómeros hidrofóbicos de acrílico de arilo como monómeros principales de formación de dispositivo, un aditivo de macrómero de reducción de adhesión y un aditivo de reducción de reflejo; además de su uso como materiales de lente intraocular, los materiales presentes también son adecuados para su uso en otros dispositivos implantables oftálmicos.
