Abstract
Se presenta un dispositivo y un método para una expansión de campo. Un alma o parte central de soporte (30) es insertada en el dispositivo por medio de un aparato de expansión de campo. El aparato de expansión de campo tiene un medio de aplicación de presión (20) que define una superficie interior que puede expandirse en dirección radial y una superficie plana que se extiende radialmente hacia afuera de la superficie interior que puede expandirse en dirección radial. El dispositivo comprende una tubería elastomérica (10) y un adaptador (40). La tubería elastomérica (10) tiene un extremo delantero opuesto a un extremo trasero y un agujero axial que se extiende a través de la misma configurado para recibir la parte central de soporte (30). El adaptador (40) tiene una porción de escalón (41) definida por una superficie exterior radial (42) y una superficie plana (43) que se extiende en dirección radial hacia afuera a partir de la superficie exterior radial (42), y un agujero axial (44) que se extiende a través de la misma. El agujero axial (44) tiene un diámetro sustancialmente igual que el diámetro del agujero axial (12) de la tubería elastomérica (10).
