Abstract

Se describen en la presente composiciones y métodos para mejorar el desempeño cognoscitivo y estado de ánimo en un sujeto humano adulto. El método de la presente invención involucra la administración de un complemento dietético que comprende polisacáridos de plantas. Las composiciones reveladas en la presente tienen efectos benéficos sobre el desempeño de la memoria y tareas de alta demanda cognoscitiva independiente de respuestas de glucosa en la sangre y a pesar de fatiga mental.
