Abstract
Se describen un sistema y método para extender la vida útil de una paleta de turbina de gas, en donde la paleta de turbina de gas incluye una configuración de corte diseñada para aliviar la tensión mecánica y térmica impartida a la región pedestal del borde trasero del plano aerodinámico. Las modalidades de la presente invención incluyen configuraciones de paleta de turbina que tienen diferentes configuraciones de corte de borde trasero así como enfriamiento adicional suministrado a los pasajes internos de la región de borde trasero de la paleta de turbina.
