Abstract
The present invention is related to a biocide formulation based on bacteria with Ralstonia solanacearum antagonist activity, which is useful for fighting the bacterial wilt caused by this pathogen in tomato crops. This formulation may be applied by irrigation systems in greenhouses or directly to the substrate in which the plant is growing. The antagonist bacteria are associated to the roots of the tomato plants and may release substances that inhibit the growth of Ralstonia solanacearum. The formulation is applied for preventing and treating the bacterial wilt in tomato crops.
