Abstract
La presente invención se relaciona con un elemento de seguridad ópticamente variable (14) para proteger artículos de valor, que tiene una capa de color ópticamente variable (34) Según la presente invención, se prevé que la capa de color ópticamente variable (34) incluya una pluralidad de microcápsulas (36), cada una de las cuales presenta una cubierta capsular (38), un líquido portador (40) dentro de la cubierta capsular (38) y al menos un pigmento ópticamente variable y susceptible de alinearse magnéticamente (42) que gira con considerable libertad en la microcápsula (36), que se alinea de modo reversible por medio de un campo magnético externo (24) y que está desarrollado como multicapas con al menos una capa magnética (46) y al menos una capa no magnética (48).
