Abstract

La invención proporciona una caracterización para el sistema de energía de funcionamiento de una planta de extracción de aceite de palma crudo y procedimiento correspondiente. La caracterización para el funcionamiento del sistema de energía de una planta de extracción de aceite de palma crudo alcanza el objetivo de mayor eficiencia de utilización de la energía mediante el uso de una fuente de calor a baja temperatura que ofrece en el punto de operación de diseño del sistema de energía que proporciona energía térmica para el proceso de extracción del aceite de palma. La presente invención proporciona una disposición para el funcionamiento de sistema de energía de una planta de extracción de aceite de palma crudo, que incluye al menos una fuente de calor y al menos un medio para comunicar el calor de al menos una fuente de calor a una unidad de proceso que requiere energía de calor en el que el sistema de energía está diseñado y configurado para operar en un punto de operación de diseño para la temperatura de al menos una fuente de calor y en el que al menos una temperatura de la fuente de calor es entre 115°C y 141°C. Preferiblemente, la temperatura de al menos una fuente de calor es entre 115°C y 138°C y la temperatura de al menos una fuente de calor entre 115°C y 130°C es la más adecuada. Lo más adecuado es cuando la temperatura de al menos una fuente de calor es mayor que 100°C y menor que 115°C.
