Abstract
La invención provee organismos microbianos no naturales que tienen una ruta de butadieno. Adicionalmente, la invención provee métodos de uso de dichos organismos para producir butadieno. En algunos aspectos las modalidades descritas en la presente se refieren a un procedimiento de producción de butadieno que incluye: (a) cultivar por fermentación, en una cantidad suficiente de nutrientes y medio, un organismo microbiano no natural que produce alcohol crotílico; y (b) convertir en butadieno el alcohol crotílico producido cultivando el organismo microbiano no natural.
