Abstract
Se provee un método y una herramienta de registro para aproximar una respuesta de herramienta de registro en una formación en capas. El método incluye obtener un primer perfil en capas de por lo menos un registro de medida provisto por una herramienta de registro utilizando un proceso de cuadratura, obteniendo un registro de medición filtrado del primer perfil en capas usando un modelo de avance físico para la herramienta de registro y estimando la aproximación del modelo de avance físico usando una función parametrizada de manera que provee una primera respuesta de registro.
