Abstract

Se divulga una montura extendida de remolque frontal. La montura permite que un primer camión de remolque se monte a un segundo tráiler viendo hacia delante, detrás del primer tráiler, para poder remolcar al segundo tráiler a una ubicación distante. La montura permite que el camión remolcado vaya de frente durante el transporte, de esta forma permitiendo que las cargas normales y estrés del movimiento en el camión remolcado. Está configuración es preferida al movimiento con el camión remolcado en las configuraciones de reserva, en donde las superficies típicamente aerodinámicas de un gran camión actúan como una carga durante el transporte, imponiendo altas cargas de viento y estrés inusual. La montura extendida de remolque frontal también está diseñada para minimizar el levantamiento vertical requerido durante la carga y descarga en un camión de remolque.
