Abstract
Son proporcionados métodos y aparatos que soportan un paquete de transporte de longitud variable en un sistema de comunicación de audio y video. Son determinados los datos que serán transmitidos a través de un paquete de transporte. Es generado el encabezado del paquete de transporte. El encabezado incluye una señal de sincronización de inicio. Cuando la longitud del paquete de transporte excede un tamaño de referencia, al menos una señal de sincronización intermedia es insertada en el paquete de transporte de acuerdo con un intervalo predefinido. El paquete de transporte es transmitido.
