Abstract
Una cabeza de soldadura de puntos eléctricos para un robot industrial de ejes múltiples que tiene una configuración compacta, particularmente en una dirección longitudinal que avanza desde el extremo de la cabeza para la unión a la cintura del robot hacia los electrodos de soldadura (101, 102). Esto se obtiene principalmente por el hecho de que el transformador eléctrico (T) montado sobre la cabeza tiene sus polos de salida (118, 119) conectados a los brazos sujetadores de electrodos (103, 104) colocados, respectivamente, sobre una pared (121) frontal del cuerpo del transformador (T) y sobre una pared (124) de extremo del cuerpo del transformador, para la conexión de los brazos sujetadores de electrodos (103, 104) de la cabeza. La estructura de la cabeza de soldadura está cubierta completamente por una cubierta (105) que tiene una abertura trasera para conexión a la cintura (20) del robot y una abertura frontal desde la cual sobresalen los brazos de electrodo (103, 104) de la cabeza de soldadura.
