Abstract

Se describe un sistema para obtener de forma inalámbrica una medición de una característica de un metal fundido. El sistema incluye un bloque de contacto configurado para acoplarse operativamente a un primer extremo de un soporte de lanza sustancialmente hueco. El bloque de contacto se acopla de forma desmontable y eléctricamente a y recibe señales análogas de un sensor de medición. El bloque de contacto convierte las señales análogas recibidas en señales ultrasónicas y transmite las señales ultrasónicas a través del hueco del soporte de lanza. Un bloque receptor se configura para acoplarse operativamente a un segundo extremo del soporte de lanza. El segundo extremo es opuesto al primer extremo del soporte de lanza. El bloque receptor recibe las señales ultrasónicas del bloque de contacto y convierte las señales ultrasónicas recibidas en una señal de voltaje digital.
