Abstract
Se describe un aparato y método para las pruebas de descarga de alto voltaje de un neumático. En modalidades particulares, una sonda de alto voltaje se mantiene contra la superficie de un neumático. La sonda de alto voltaje se energiza y se proporciona movimiento relativo entre la superficie del neumático y la sonda de alto voltaje. En la presencia de una anomalía que penetra en el material de aislamiento de la superficie del neumático, una descarga eléctrica se producirá entre el electrodo conductor de resorte y un electrodo de referencia.
