Abstract
La invención se refiere una máquina de moldeo giratoria (20) que tiene una rueda montada para girar sobre un par de ejes posicionados a lo largo del eje de rotación de la rueda. Un primer eje coopera con una mesa giratoria de la primera rueda y un segundo eje coopera con una segunda mesa giratoria. Las primera y segunda placas giratorias se extienden transversalmente al eje de rotación. Una pluralidad de ensambles de molde modulares de sujeción (100) están colocados en la rueda, con cada ensamble de abrazadera de moldeo modular que se puede mover entre una posición abierta y una cerrada. Cada ensamble de abrazadera de molde modular tiene áreas que se montan con los respectivos puntos de montaje en cada mesa giratoria. Los ensambles de abrazadera de molde modulares proporcionan la estructura y la rigidez entre las placas giratorias para ayudar a mantener las placas en la posición de uno con respecto al otro.
