Abstract

Se describe un sistema para utilizar en un cojinete de película lubricante para el tren de laminación (10) para remover un flujo laminar del lubricante que sale tangencialmente de entre un manguito de rotación (12) y un buje fijo (18) que rodea el manguito (12). El sistema comprende superficies de confinamiento que cooperan con el manguito (12) y el buje (18) para definir una cámara anular (40a) dispuesta para recibir el flujo laminar de salida del lubricante. Los propulsores (42) se proyectan en la cámara (40a) y pueden girarse con y en la velocidad del manguito (12) para expulsar así el lubricante alrededor de la cámara anular (40a). Una salida (44) se comunica tangencialmente con la cámara anular (40a) para remover el lubricante que se expulsa alrededor de la cámara (40a) mediante la rotación de los propulsores (42). El tamaño de la salida (44) en relación con el volumen del lubricante recibido en la cámara anular (40a) es tal que la cámara (40a) permanece llena con el lubricante durante la operación del estado estacionario del cojinete (10).
