Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método y dispositivo para codificar datos y método y dispositivo de decodificación; el método de codificación es uno que involucra la codificación de datos de imagen tridimensional en unidades de datos las cuales consisten de un área de encabezamiento y un área de datos y en la cual el área de encabezamiento contiene información de tipo que muestra el tipo de datos contenido en el área de datos, en donde la codificación se realiza en datos de imagen desde el punto de vista de referencia y datos de imagen de punto adicional para proporcionar una imagen tridimensional, y en donde un encabezamiento que contiene primera información de tipo de unidad que constituye una forma de información de tipo definida en un sistema de legado se agrega a los datos de imagen de punto de referencia codificados de modo que se genera una primera unidad de datos, y un encabezamiento que contiene segunda información de tipo de unidad que constituye una forma de información de tipo no definida en el sistema de legado se agrega a los datos de imagen de punto de referencia codificados de modo que se genera una segunda unidad de datos.
