Abstract

En la presente descripción se describen estructuras fibrosas coformadas compuestas de (a) una pluralidad de filamentos que tiene un contenido de base biológica de al menos aproximadamente 25 % y que se seleccionan del grupo que consiste en polipropileno, polietileno, polimetilpenteno, polibutileno-1, poliisobutileno, copolímero de etileno propileno, copolímero de monómero de etileno propileno dieno o hule y mezclas de estos; y (b) un aditivo sólido que incluye una fibra celulósica. El aditivo sólido está presente en una cantidad de al menos aproximadamente 30 % en peso en base al peso total de la estructura fibrosa. Las estructuras fibrosas coformadas de la invención pueden ser artículos, tales como papel, telas y protectores absorbentes.
