Abstract

Se proveen diseños y técnicas para construir y operar láser de pulsos en femptosegundos. Un ejemplo de un motor de láser incluye un oscilador que genera y emite un haz de pulsos de semillas en femtosegundos, un extensor-compresor que extienden una duración de pulsos de semillas y un amplificador que recibe los pulsos de semillas estirados, amplifica una amplitud de pulsos de semillas estirados para crear pulsos extendidos amplificados y emite un haz de láser de pulsos extendidos amplificados de nuevo al extensor- compresor que comprime su duración y emite un haz de láser de pulsos en femtosegundos. El amplificador incluye un controlador de dispersión que compensa una dispersión de los pulsos extendidos amplificados creando el régimen de repetición del láser ajustable entre procedimientos o de acuerdo con la velocidad de barrido.
