Abstract
Es proporcionado un método y aparato de control de una unidad de retroiluminación de un aparato de visualización tridimensional (3D) que recibe una secuencia de video 3D. El método incluye determinar el nivel de brillantez de imagen de la secuencia de video 3D visualizada en una unidad de pantalla de cristal líquido (LCD), para cada una de una pluralidad de regiones parciales de la unidad LCD en la cual una pluralidad de subbloques de la unidad de retroiluminación emite luz; determinar los tiempos de encendido de la pluralidad de subbloques de la unidad de retroiluminación, en función de la brillantez de imagen de cada una de las regiones parciales de la unidad LCD; y determinar los períodos de encendido de la pluralidad de subbloques de la unidad de retroiluminación mediante la sincronización con un periodo de cambio entre un conjunto que incluye un cuadro de punto visual izquierdo y un cuadro de punto visual derecho de la secuencia de video 3D.
