Abstract
Un dispositivo de transmisión continuamente variable para vehículos de acuerdo con la presente invención incluye un mecanismo de transmisión continuamente variable capaz de cambiar continuamente la relación de velocidad, un mecanismo de sub-transmisión proporcionado en serie con el mecanismo de transmisión continuamente variable, que incluye una primera posición de marcha y una segunda posición de marcha que tiene una relación de velocidad menor que la primera posición de marcha, como las posiciones de marcha hacia adelante y adaptado para cambiar entre la primera posición de marcha y la segunda posición de marcha al acoplar o liberar selectivamente una pluralidad de elementos de acoplamiento, y una unidad de control de la transmisión en donde un vehículo se detiene con la posición de marcha del mecanismo de sub-transmisión mantenida en la segunda posición de marcha cuando se detiene en un estado donde la posición de marcha del mecanismo de sub-transmisión está en la segunda posición de marcha.
