Abstract

Se describe una unidad de etiquetado (15) desplazable a lo largo de una trayectoria dada (P) para recibir etiquetas (2) que pueden ser aplicadas sobre artículos relacionados (3); la unidad (15) comprende un miembro receptor hueco (22) que tiene una pared lateral (24) adaptada para recibir una etiqueta relacionada (2), extendiéndose alrededor de un eje (F) transversal a la trayectoria (P) y que comprende una porción de succión (36) provista de orificios perforados (33); un dispositivo neumático de succión (35) conectado a los orificios (33) a través del interior del miembro receptor (22) y que puede ser activado para retener una etiqueta (2) sobre la superficie exterior de la pared lateral (24) del miembro receptor (22) mediante succión; y un miembro distribuidor hueco (60) que está dispuesto coaxialmente dentro del miembro receptor (22) y está provisto de un número de secciones de abertura espaciadas angularmente (61, 62, 63) que tienen, en una dirección paralela al eje (F), diferentes alturas (H1, H2, H3) correlacionadas con las alturas de diferentes etiquetas (2) para ser procesadas por la unidad (15), y que se puede ser girada en al menos dos posiciones angulares diferentes, correspondiendo cada una a la localización de una de las secciones de abertura seleccionada (61, 62, 63) en frente de la porción de succión (36) de la pared lateral (24) del miembro receptor (22) para hacer operativos sólo los orificios (33) que quedan frente a la sección de abertura seleccionada (61, 62, 63).
