Abstract

La invención se refiere a espumas de polímero protegidas contra llama que comprenden por lo menos un polímero halogenado, por ejemplo, poliestirol bromado o copolímero en bloque de estirol-butadieno, como un agente protector de llama, teniendo un contenido de bromo en el rango de 40 a 80% en peso, o compuestos de tetrabromobifenol-A (TBBPA), a un método para la producción de las mismas, y a polímeros de estirol dilatables protegidos contra llama.
