Abstract

Se describen revestimientos de capas múltiples de interferencia óptica que emplean un material de alto índice de refracción comprendiendo un óxido de NbTaZr. Dichos revestimientos proporcionan una retención mejorada de propiedades ópticas y físicas favorables a altas temperaturas. También se describen aquí lámparas que comprenden una envoltura de transmisión de luz, por lo menos una porción de la superficie de la envoltura de transmisión de luz estando provista con el revestimiento de interferencia óptica descrito anteriormente. Dichos revestimientos, cuando se usan en lámparas, ventajosamente pueden ofrecer eficiencias mejoradas de energía para dichas lámparas.
