Abstract
Un dispositivo de drenaje para glaucoma tiene un tubo de drenaje principal con un primer extremo en una cámara anterior de un ojo y un segundo extremo en una ubicación de drenaje. Un tubo de drenaje de derivación se acopla fluídicamente a y en paralelo con el tubo de drenaje principal. Una bomba se encuentra en comunicación con el tubo de drenaje de derivación. La bomba comprende un primer excitador y una primera membrana flexible que envuelve a una primera cámara. Una primera válvula de retención se ubica corriente arriba de la bomba, y una segunda válvula de retención se ubica corriente abajo de la bomba. Una válvula activa se ubica corriente arriba de la primera válvula de retención. La válvula activa comprende un segundo excitador y una segunda membrana flexible que envuelve una segunda cámara. Una tercera válvula de retención se ubica entre la válvula activa y el segundo extremo del tubo de drenaje principal. Un volumen de la primera cámara se cambia para bombear líquido desde la cámara anterior.
