Abstract
Un método para remover los compuestos biodegradables disueltos como una etapa de tratamiento biológico ascendente de un equipo para protegerse de la corrosión biológica siendo parte de un agua subterránea, agua de superficie o línea de tratamiento de agua residual terciaria, en donde dicha etapa de tratamiento biológica ascendente se lleva a cabo en al menos un bioreactor de lecho empacado comprendiendo un recipiente o un tanque con elementos de empaque, caracterizado en que: i) dichos elementos de empaque de dicho lecho empacado muestran una fracción de vacío de al menos 70% y la velocidad del flujo del agua a través de dicho bioreactor de lecho empacado es al menos 20 m/h, de manera que dicho lecho empacado no tiene una eficiencia de remoción de los sólidos suspendidos en agua, si cualquiera, de más de 30%; ii) dichos elementos de empaque de dicho lecho empacado muestran un área de superficie específica de al menos 750 m2/m3 iii) dicho proceso no requiere el uso de cualquier compuesto biocida o bioestático.
