Abstract

The present invention refers to a system to increase or decrease the diameter of waists in pants, skirts and garments in general, the system comprising a front and a rear portion attached by a stitch, a pocket located at each side of the front section which has an aperture in the upper portion thereof and is attached to the waist of the article and to the front and rear section of the same, the waist of the article having an inner tongue having a narrow elastic located in the end portion thereof, which is expanded for increasing the waist and stretched to its initial size, this tongue being coupled to a tunnel which is located in the external surface of the inner section of the waist, also including a thick rear elastic juxtaposed in the inner end portion and at the end of the waistband, this not being displaced with the waistband only being expanded and stretched, additionally the thick rear elastic may be located nearly at the end of the waistband and attached by a stitch.
