Abstract
Se describe un medio de mejoramiento del desempeño de un cable de fibra óptica multimodal (MMF, por sus siglas en inglés) optimizado para obtener un margen óptico y un alcance de canal mejorados para usarse en redes de comunicación de datos de alta velocidad. El método descrito puede usarse para mejorar el desempeño de MMF tanto de grado OM3 como OM4.
