Abstract
Un método para la recuperación de calor residual en un proceso para la síntesis de un producto químico, particularmente amoníaco, en donde el producto es usado como el fluido de trabajo de un ciclo termodinámico; el calor residual es usado para aumentar el contenido de entalpía de una corriente líquida a alta presión de dicho producto (11), entregado por una sección (10) de síntesis, obteniendo así una corriente de producto (20) en estado de vapor o supercrítico, y la energía es recuperada expandiendo dicha corriente en estado de vapor o supercrítico a través de por lo menos un expansor (13) adecuado; el método es particularmente adecuado para recuperar el contenido de calor del efluente de gas de síntesis después del desplazamiento a baja temperatura.
