Abstract

Se describe un proceso para convertir biomasa en productos con alto valor energético, que comprende los pasos de: descortezar, triturar y tamizar la madera; separar una pluralidad de hemicelulosa de una pluralidad de celulosa y lignina; hidrolizar la pluralidad de hemicelulosa en monosacáridos; fermentar los monosacáridos utilizando Pachysolen tannophilus inmovilizado; retirar la lignina de la pluralidad de celulosa y lignina; y elaborar una pasta papelera a partir de la pluralidad de la celulosa.
