Abstract

La invención se refiere a anticuerpos que son capaces de unirse al dominio extracelular de integrina. Otro objeto de la invención se refiere al uso de estos anticuerpos para detectar integrinas en tejido incrustado en parafina fijado en formalina (FFPE) en archivo. La invención también se refiere a métodos para preparar anticuerpos monoclonales de conejo, en donde el inmunógeno es un dominio de integrina extracelular, recombinante, derivado de cultivo de expresión de insecto, y otro método para examinar anticuerpos antiintegrina que discriminan entre homólogos más cercanos de integrina y que son especialmente adecuados para inmunohistoquímica en material FFPE.
