Abstract
Se proporciona un aparato y método para identificar una fase averiada en un banco de capacitor en derivación. El aparato incluye un circuito de muestreo para mostrar corriente o señales de voltaje asociadas con un banco de capacitor en derivación. Se acopla un microcontrolador al circuito de muestreo y se programa para medir un ángulo de fase de punto neutro compensada a partir de la señal muestreada y compara el ángulo de fase de punto neutro compensada con un ángulo de fase de referencia fijo. El método incluye muestrear una señal de corriente o voltaje asociada con el banco de capacitor en derivación, determinar un ángulo de fase de punto neutral compensada y comparar el ángulo de fase de punto neutral compensada con una fase de referencia fija.
