Abstract
Las condiciones ambientales dentro de un alojamiento que contiene dispositivos y equipo críticos, se monitorean, y cuando están fuera de parámetros aceptables, se toman acciones correctivas para modificar estas condiciones ambientales para traerlas dentro de límites aceptables. A menos que la condición ambiental esté fuera de un límite aceptable, el equipo de acondicionamiento ambiental no genera ningún gasto, ya que no hay necesidad de que esté en uso. Cuando el equipo de acondicionamiento ambiental es activado, su influencia sobre la modificación ambiental es monitoreada para determinar si la modificación ambiental esperada está sucediendo dentro de un(os) periodo(s) de tiempo esperado(s). Si la modificación ambiental esperada no sucede dentro del periodo de tiempo esperado, y/o no sucede en una tasa de tiempo de cambio esperada, entonces se genera una alarma para indicar que puede ser requerido mantenimiento para el equipo de acondicionamiento ambiental.
