Abstract
Un método para separar partículas mezcladas en una celda de flotación (1) utiliza una zona de fluidización (22) dentro de la celda en donde las partículas se fluidizan en una zona quiescente por líquido que se mueve hacia arriba a través de la zona de fluidización (22). El líquido fluidizante puede proporcionarse por la alimentación (21) o al reciclar líquido proveniente de las partes superiores de la celda, tal como desde la zona de liberación (40). Se introducen burbujas en la parte inferior de la celda a través de un impulsor mecánico (2) que también separa cualquiera de los canales en la zona de mezclado (5), o por aireación separada en la parte inferior de la celda o mediante la introducción a través de un tubo de reciclado.
