Abstract
Un método implementado en un sistema de línea de suscriptor digital (DSL) es descrito para minimizar una probabilidad de detección erronea en un receptor de mensaje codificado en un extremo durante la transmisión del mensaje codificado. El método comprende determinar en conjunto, en el receptor de mensaje codificado en el extremo, una matriz P y un esquema de modulación. El método posteriormente comprende codificar un mensaje en un mensaje codificado con un código de bloque lineal sistemático, el código de bloque lineal sistemático tiene una matriz generadora [I P], en donde I representa una matriz de identidad del componente de código de bloque lineal y P representa la matriz P determinada. El método también comprende modular el mensaje codificado a uno o más tonos formando un símbolo discreto de múltiples tonos (DMT) de acuerdo con un esquema de modulación determinado.
