Abstract
La presente invención está relacionada con un biorreactor para biolixiviación que cuenta con un sistema para inyección y difusión de aire, lo que permite controlar el tamaño fino de la burbuja de aire, mejorando la distribución del oxigeno y del dióxido de carbono que son requeridos por los microorganismos que promueven el proceso de biolixiviación, a fin de mantener la concentración celular durante el proceso. El biorreactor para biolixiviación comprende un cuerpo de reactor para contener la pulpa que va a ser procesada y permitir que se lleve al cabo la reacción; una base de soporte para fijar el cuerpo del reactor; un dispositivo alimentador de pulpa, que se proyecta hacia el interior del cuerpo del reactor; un sistema para inyección y difusión de aire para mezclar y suministrar el aire requerido por el proceso de reacción; por lo menos cuatro elementos rompe vórtices localizados en el interior del cuerpo de reactor; por lo menos un elemento de calentamiento que rodea al cuerpo de reactor para mantener la temperatura de reacción; un puerto de salida de pulpa para entrega de la pulpa ya procesada; un puerto de entrada de pulpa que va a ser procesada; un puerto de entrada de aire, localizado en el extremo superior del cuerpo de reactor; y, un puerto de salida de vapores, localizado en el extremo superior del cuerpo de reactor.
