Abstract

La presente invención pertenece al campo de la criopreservación de células y de cultivos celulares, más específicamente se refiere a un procedimiento para la criopreservación y el almacenamiento a largo plazo de las células, construcciones celulares o ensamblajes tisulares complejos tridimensionales. Los procedimientos se basan en el uso de un vehículo celular de colágeno que tiene una composición específica así como un grosor muy específico y propiedades mecánicas apropiadas que se mantienen después de descongelar. El uso de tal vehículo celular de colágeno (CCC) proporciona un soporte muy adecuado para la criopreservación que da como resultado tasas de supervivencia muy altas después de descongelar y proporcionar ensamblajes de células y tisulares ya adheridos a un soporte mecánicamente estable y biocompatible. La invención también se refiere a ensamblajes de vehículo de colágeno-células congelados y a las construcciones de células artificiales congeladas o a los ensamblajes tisulares complejos tridimensionales congelados obtenibles por el procedimiento de la invención y al uso de los mismos después de descongelar.
