Abstract

Un montaje de piso de remolque incluye un par de rieles laterales que se extienden longitudinalmente que soportan una pluralidad de paneles transversales que se empalman entre sí. La pluralidad de paneles transversales incluye paneles de aluminio extrudido intercalados con paneles de acero laminados en sitios en donde se desea una resistencia adicional (por ejemplo, pivote central, plataformas rodantes, y puertas traseras). Los paneles extruidos incluyen ranuras en forma de T en una pared inferior de los mismos para permitir que los paneles extruidos se fijen a los rieles laterales por medio de sujetadores que enganchan la pared inferior del panel pero no la pared superior del panel. El montaje elimina las vigas cruzadas transversales utilizadas para soportar paneles longitudinales en la técnica anterior, y con ello proporciona una aerodinámica mejorada.
