Abstract
La presente invención se relaciona con la utilización de líquidos iónicos de fórmula general C+A-, donde C+ representa un catión de tipo orgánico o inorgánico, específicamente de los tipo imidazolio, piridinio, o sales de amonio, mientras que el anión A- son derivados que son, aunque no exclusivamente de tipo halogenuros, sales de hierro (III), sales de aluminio (III), acetato y benzoato. Estos líquidos iónicos actúan como agentes extractantes de los compuestos nitrogenados presentes en las corrientes de hidrocarburos mediante un proceso de extracción líquido-líquido con lo cual se puede reducir en más de un 60% el contenido de estos contaminantes en la corrientes hidrocarbonadas.
