Abstract
Un sistema de control de carga multimodal incluye un sensor que opera como un sensor de ocupación en un primer modo de operación y opera como un sensor de desocupación en un segundo modo de operación. El sistema de control de carga comprende un circuito de control de carga adaptado para ser acoplado en conexión eléctrica en serie entre una fuente de energía de AC y una carga eléctrica para controlar la cantidad de energía suministrada a la carga en respuesta al sensor, que es operable para detectar las condiciones de ocupación o desocupación en un espacio en el que se ubica el sensor. En el primer modo de operación, el circuito de control de carga enciende la carga cuando el sensor detecta la condición de ocupación y apaga la carga cuando el sensor detecta la condición de desocupación. En el segundo modo de operación, el circuito de control de carga apaga la carga cuando el sensor detecta la condición de desocupación y no enciende la carga cuando el sensor detecta la condición de ocupación.
