Abstract
Un método para determinar la integridad de una formación durante la perforación de un pozo incluye determinar una presión de fluido de la sección anular en un pozo durante la perforación del mismo. La presión de la sección anular se ajusta en una cantidad predeterminada. La velocidad de flujo del fluido de perforación que entra al pozo se compara con la velocidad de flujo del fluido de perforación que sale del pozo. Por lo menos una de la presión de poros de la formación y la presión de fractura de la formación se determina de la presión de la sección anular cuando las velocidades de flujo comparadas difieren en una cantidad seleccionada. Alternativamente, el método para la determinación de las presiones de poros y/o de fractura incluye determinar una respuesta del pozo a la presión de fluido ajustada y determinar una respuesta del pozo a la presión de fluido ajustada y determinar la presión óptima del fluido de la sección anular a partir de la respuesta del pozo.
