Abstract

Una unidad de transmisión/recepción inalámbrica (WTRU) determina (1) si la WTRU está transmitiendo tantos datos programados como es permitido por un Servicio_Cesión actual, (2) si la WTRU tiene suficiente potencia para transmitir a una velocidad de datos más grande, y (3) sobre la base de un mismo desajuste de potencia como una combinación de formato de transporte de E-DCH (E-TFC) actualmente seleccionada, si el estado de la memoria intermedia del E-DCH total (TEBS) requeriría más del periodo predeterminado para ser transmitida con la relación Servicio_Cesión actual x a de los procesos activos con un número total de procesos. Si los criterios (1)-(3) son satisfechos, la WTRU ajusta el bit de ajuste a uno de "desajuste". Si la MAC-i/is es configurada, la WTRU evalúa el criterio (2) identificando una E-TFC que tiene un tamaño de bloque de transporte de al menos x bits más grande que un tamaño de bloque de transporte de la E-TFC actualmente seleccionada, y determina si la E-TFC identificada es soportada, sobre la base del desajuste de potencia como la E-TFC actualmente seleccionada.
