Abstract
Se describen sistemas y metodologías que facilitan la identificación y/o selección de células femto en un ambiente de comunicación inalámbrica; un dispositivo móvil puede explorar un canal piloto auxiliar para detectar información del canal piloto auxiliar (por ejemplo, un Código Walsh particular,...) enviada desde una estación base; además, la información identificada del Canal Piloto Auxiliar puede ser evaluada para detectar una característica de la estación base; por ejemplo, la información identificada del Canal Piloto Auxiliar puede ser comparada con la información almacenada del Canal Piloto Auxiliar (por ejemplo, Códigos Walsh incluidos en una lista blanca, lista negra, ...); además un Canal de Sincronización puede ser leído con base en la característica detectada; además, un Canal Piloto Común, por ejemplo, puede ser analizado para buscar compensaciones de pseudo-ruido (PN) reservadas para estaciones base de célula femto, y la exploración del Canal Piloto Auxiliar puede ser iniciada en respuesta a la detección de al menos una compensación PN reservada.
