Abstract

Se describen técnicas para mapear recursos virtuales en recursos físicos en un sistema de comunicación inalámbrica. En un aspecto, un recurso virtual (por ejemplo, un bloque de recursos virtuales) puede mapearse en un recurso físico en un subconjunto seleccionado de recursos físicos basándose en una primera función de mapeo, la cual debe mapear recursos virtuales contiguos en recursos físicos no contiguos en el subconjunto seleccionado. El recurso físico en el subconjunto seleccionado entonces puede mapearse en un recurso físico asignado (por ejemplo, un bloque de recursos físicos) entre una pluralidad de recursos físicos disponibles basándose en una segunda función de mapeo. En un diseño, la primera función de mapeo puede incluir (i) una función de remapeo que mapea un índice del recurso virtual en un índice temporal y (ii) una función de permutación (por ejemplo, un intercalador de fila/columna de bit inverso) que mapea el índice temporal en un índice del recurso físico en el subconjunto seleccionado.
