Abstract
La invención se refiere a un método y aparato para desecar una mezcla de etanol y agua. El método comprende las etapas de alimentar la mezcla de etanol y agua (1) a un evaporador (2), evaporar la mezcla de etanol y agua (1) y alimentar una corriente de la mezcla vaporizada de etanol y agua (3) a una unidad de recompresión de vapor (4), presurizar la mezcla vaporizada de etanol y agua (3) en la unidad de recompresión de vapor (4) y alimentar una corriente de la mezcla vaporizada presurizada de etanol y agua (5) a una unidad de membrana (6), y dividir la corriente de la mezcla presurizada de etanol y agua (5) en una corriente de la mezcla de etanol y agua (8) y en una corriente de la mezcla desecada de etanol y agua (7).
